  21. As I said in my last letter to you, I have been sent a BASIC program 
  22. which calculates Easter Sunday from 1200 onwards.  Brian Edwards has 
  23. written to me giving me permission to send it to you.

  25. He has also sent me the algorithm for the calculation of Easter which 
  26. he used in his BASIC program.  I have converted that algorithm to a 
  27. PipeDream 4 custom function which is in the file I have called 
  28. [c_Easter2] on this disc.  I have not thoroughly checked the custom 
  29. function but all the years I have tried do match both your algorithm 
  30. and the BASIC program sent to me by Brian.

  32. You will see that the algorithm used by Brian has built into it the 
  33. year 1752 as the year for the change from Julian to Gregorian.  I have 
  34. written the custom function in such a way that this can be changed with 
  35. relative ease.

  37. I shall be most grateful for any comment you have on the algorithm and 
  38. any data you have of specific 'old' Easter dates which could be used to 
  39. check the algorithm as well as its implementation by means of the 
  40. custom function.

  43. you have done a little more work on it.
